Sony officially launched the PS5 gaming console back in November 2020. Ever since, the gaming console has been available in limited supplies in markets across the globe. Over the years, semiconductor shortage coupled with exceptionally high demand has made it difficult for Sony to make the gaming console available to all gaming enthusiasts who are interested in buying it. But now, the company has said that its PS5 supply woes have ended and that interested buyers will be able to buy it easily in markets across the globe. “To all our fans: thank you for your patience as we navigated unprecedented demand for the PS5 console amid global challenges. If you’re looking to purchase a PS5 console, you should now have a much easier time finding one at retailers globally,” Sony wrote in a blog post. “For players in the US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, be sure to check direct.playstation.com to purchase a PS5 console, games, and accessories directly from PlayStation. Sony recently revealed that the Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless and the Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles will be coming to PS4 and PS5 gaming consoles later this year. The company has also revealed that puzzle-strategy mashup Backbeat will also be arriving on PS4 and PS5 gaming consoles later this year. In its blog today, the company revealed a bunch of new games that will be arriving on the PS5 gaming console later this year. The list includes highly anticipated games such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Final Fantasy XVI, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4: Remake and Street Fighter 6, as well as upcoming expansions like Destiny 2: Lightfall and Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores.

Interestingly, the news comes days before the company launches the PlayStation VR2 in markets across the globe. For the unversed, Sony will launch PS VR2 globally on February 22, 2023. The gaming set is already up for pre-orders on Sony’s official website. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the list of 30 games that will be available on PS VR2 when it launches later this year. You can check the entire list here.
